Rocket is Australia’s largest exporter of CDs, DVDs and Games. We supply Australian music and entertainment products in high volume to every region of the world.

Best Database

Since 1996 Rocket has developed Australia’s first and only comprehensive database of CD, DVD and games via a network of over 200 suppliers.

Takeover

In April 1997, after 15 months of rapid growth, we purchased all the assets of our closest competitor Mushroom Export. After 10 years in the Australian export business - Mushroom Export ceased trading at this time.

One-Stop

In July 2000, we opened Australia’s first CD, DVD and Video one-stop warehouse specifically for export and internet fulfilment. At this time we also expanded our offices.

Best Info

In March 2001 we increased our export sales team and product department with the aim that Rocket provide the best customer and product information service in the world.

RADAR

Rocket’s new database (RADAR) was implemented early in 2003 to handle a vastly increased number of customers and a catalogue of over 150,000 items.

New Building

Rocket moved to much larger premises in May 2003, with over 4 times the office space of the previous address.
